The Adolescent Mental Health Partial Care and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are also state-licensed programs centered around group and individual therapy to address the needs of clients struggling with mental health concerns in a safe, judgment-free environment. These issues include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, other mood disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders.

The clinical model is empirical and evidence-based, and employs a variety of therapeutic techniques in order to best serve the consumer. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy Skills Groups, Process Groups, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills, and other modalities are utilized in our many group and individual sessions. As with all our programs, family involvement is strongly encouraged.

Our current services for adolescents presently focus on Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services.  We expect to have the Teen PC program launch in the near future.  Once we have both programs running, the clients will be admitted into the appropriate program setting based on their clinical presentation and needs. Those requiring more assistance may initially begin treatment in Partial Care, whereas some clients may be appropriate to commence treatment in the Intensive Outpatient Program.  The determination for the appropriate placement is made by skilled and credentialed therapists and a board certified psychiatrist during a comprehensive initial assessment.

The Partial Care Program meets for 5 or more hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). This allows for a more involved approach and greater support for the client. Clients have individual sessions with their therapist and psychiatrist at least once a week. Teens will also receive 2 hours of education each day in the Adolescent PC program. Our Adolescent IOP programs runs after school on specific days of the week. Clients in IOP see their individual therapist and the psychiatrist at least once every 2 weeks.

Teen program is presently IOP only, but Partial Care is expected to begin some time after we return to in person services after the pandemic.
